To enter follow Elato Ice Cream on Instagram. Then create a beautiful dessert platter with frozen ingredients featuring Elato ice cream. Photograph it from above and from the side – platters only, no people in shot please! The platter must feature at least one Elato tub, and extra points will be awarded to photos that incorporate suggestions from the downloadable Guide to Creating an Impressive Frozen Dessert Platter.
  1. The promoter of this competition is Elato Pty Ltd, ABN 95 639 744 700 (“Elato”).
  2. All competitions run by Elato through its social media channels and website are games of skill and are not, in any way, games of chance, unless otherwise stated. All entries will be judged equally using the judging criteria notified (if any). All entries must be an original creation by the entrant and free of any copyright infringements or violations of third-party rights.
  3. Criteria for selecting a winner is:
    1. Innovation - type of ingredients used – 40%
    2. Creativity - the way the ingredients are presented – 40%
    3. Aesthetically pleasing - overall look and feel – 20%
    4. 10% bonus marks for adhering to the Guide provided by Elato.
  4. Entry to the competition is open to residents of Australia only.
  5. Entry requirements for a valid entry are:
    1. to include all details specified on the registration form;
    2. include one tub of Elato in the images submitted;
    3. submit a vertical and horizontal image of the platter being entered; and
    4. to follow Elato on Instagram.
  6. Employees of Elato, immediate family members of employees, employees of any company or agency associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter.
  7. Judges’ decisions will be final. Numerous entries per entrant are permitted. Elato reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
  8. Elato reserves the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes questionable content. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  9. All photographs, once emailed to Elato, become, and remain the property of Elato and all intellectual property rights associated with such photos are hereby assigned to Elato upon submission of photos via email.
  10. Elato reserves the right to withdraw or amend the rules of the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
  11. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. In the event that the winner does not respond to notification of their prize win within a reasonable time period, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and a new winner will be selected. No further correspondence will be entered into.
  12. Elato reserves the right to substitute any component of the prize for equal value at their discretion.
  13. Prize includes, but may not be limited to:
    1. Weekly prize of one Elato branded hot mug;
    2. First 20 entrants will receive a $20 voucher to reimburse the cost of a tub of Elato ice cream and components for a platter
    3. A year's supply of ice cream (being 6 tubs of ice cream per month for 12 months)
    4. An in-person ice cream appreciation class with Elato’s Founder, Roz Kaldor-Aroni plus making a Teage Ezard or Elato dessert during the class

  14. The promotion commences at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, 7 December, 2021 and final entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM on Monday 31 January, 2022. Judging of all entries will be undertaken by advertised judges with winners notified via email and social media notification.
  15. If any prize remains unclaimed for 2 days after being notified, the prize will be awarded to another entrant.
  16. Acceptance and agreement of these terms and conditions is deemed to have occurred by entering the competition.
  17. Winners’ details may be used for marketing purposes.
