First 5 years
My husband and I started Elato five years ago to use the "joy" of ice cream sold in supermarkets, to help the community - creating Australia's first social enterprise to make this commitment. For us, this meant funding OzHarvest from our first day in business.
Within 18 months, Elato had launched into 300 independent supermarkets and is still going strong 3.5 years later.
With some help from OzHarvest, we tallied up data we have collected about our impact on taste, business, health benefits and the wider community since starting and I am extremely excited to share the results
- Roz, Founder of Elato.
